Icon’s President to Receive Awards from Three Prestigious Organizations

Houston, TX – August 1, 2007 – This fall Pamela O’Rourke of Icon Information Consultants will be honored by three prestigious organizations in recognition of her successes and contributions including one of HBJ’s Top 50 Fastest Growing Woman-Owned Businesses.  Icon has averaged more than 30% growth each year since the company was founded in 1998.

Ms. O’Rourke has also been selected as a finalist for WIPP’s 2007 “Member to Watch” award. The award will be presented at the WIPP Annual Conference to be held in Washington, DC on September 18.  This award is in recognition of Pamela’s dedication, devotion and achievements as a business owner.  WIPP is the nation’s largest advocate for women-owned business in the United States – the only voice for women in business on policy issues. 

Icon has also been selected for the Inc 500/5000 List of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies. This is the inaugural list recognizing the importance of growing entrepreneurial companies that are changing the business landscape.  The official ranking will be made public on August 27 at the 26th Annual Inc. 500 Conference and Awards Ceremony in Chicago held on September 6-8.
