Workforce Solutions, the public workforce system for Houston and 13 surrounding counties, has partnered with the Women's Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA), a third-party certifying organization for women-owned businesses, and edOpp Solutions, LLC, a total solutions provider for the workforce, to launch the virtual "Dare to Be Different" entrepreneurial bootcamp for young adults on June 18 and 19.
Workforce Solutions, the WBEA, and edOpp Solutions, LLC will equip young adults with the knowledge and support to establish a legitimate and profitable business. The virtual, two-day bootcamp features local entrepreneurs and business development experts. Their experience combined with a top tier curriculum will ready participants to open, manage, and promote a small business. “Dare to Be Different” Virtual Entrepreneurial Bootcamp is open to young adults aged 16 to 24 years old and is inclusive of all business types. Applications to the bootcamp are now open with a deadline of June 4, 2021. Applicants will need to meet Workforce Solutions financial aid eligibility criteria to participate.
